Contradiction with 2 Samuel 8:10
2 Samuel 8:10 states that Joram, son of Toi, was sent by Toi, whereas 1 Chronicles 18:10 states that Hadoram, son of Tou, was sent.
2 Samuel 8:10: Then Toi sent Joram his son unto king David, to salute him, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer, and smitten him: for Hadadezer had wars with Toi. And [Joram] brought with him vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass: [Joram: also called, Hadoram] [salute...: Heb. ask him of peace] [had wars...: Heb. was a man of wars with] [brought...: Heb. in his hand were]
Paradox #1
The contradiction might occur when comparing the name of the person sent to King David in 1 Chronicles 18:10 with the same event described in 2 Samuel 8:10. In Chronicles, the name is "Hadoram" while in Samuel, it's "Joram." This inconsistency could be due to variations in translations or manuscript differences over time.
