Matthew 22:30: But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
Contradiction with Mark 12:25
Similar to Matthew 22:30, this verse indicates that after resurrection, there is no marriage, which conflicts with the emphasis on marital lineage in 1 Chronicles 23:22.
Mark 12:25: For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
Paradox #1
1 Chronicles 23:22 mentions that a man named Eleazar had no sons, only daughters, and these daughters married their cousins. The issue some might see here could relate to the laws and customs about inheritance and marriage found in other parts of the Bible, like the laws in Numbers 27, where daughters inherit if there are no sons, and Leviticus 18, which provides guidelines on marriage prohibitions. Some may view these situations as inconsistent or in conflict with each other.
