Contradiction with Numbers 1:34
This verse provides a different count for the tribe of Naphtali compared to the count in 1 Chronicles 7:5.
Numbers 1:34: Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Contradiction with Numbers 26:50
Provides a different total number for the descendants of Naphtali, conflicting with the number reported in 1 Chronicles 7:5.
Numbers 26:50: These [are] the families of Naphtali according to their families: and they that were numbered of them [were] forty and five thousand and four hundred.
Contradiction with 1 Chronicles 21:5
Gives a different total for the fighting men of Israel than the number suggested in 1 Chronicles 7:5.
1 Chronicles 21:5: And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people unto David. And all [they of] Israel were a thousand thousand and an hundred thousand men that drew sword: and Judah [was] four hundred threescore and ten thousand men that drew sword.
