Contradiction with Jeremiah 1:7
This verse contradicts 1 Kings 3:7 as God reassures Jeremiah not to say he is only a child, implying that youth or inexperience is not a hindrance.
Jeremiah 1:7: But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I [am] a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
Contradiction with 1 Timothy 4:12
Paul advises Timothy not to let anyone despise his youth, suggesting that being young is not an impediment to leadership.
1 Timothy 4:12: Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Contradiction with Jeremiah 1:6
Like Solomon, Jeremiah also claims he is not capable due to his youth, but this attitude is later corrected by God, contrasting Solomon's humility with divine assurance of capability.
Jeremiah 1:6: Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I [am] a child.
Paradox #1
1 Kings 3:7 features Solomon referring to himself as a "little child," which some people find contradictory because other parts of the Bible suggest he was already a grown man with responsibilities at the time. This comment creates a potential inconsistency regarding his age and maturity when he became king.
