Contradiction with Genesis 1:24
This verse describes the creation of animals to serve man's needs, while 1 Samuel 6:7 involves using animals (kine) for God's purposes.
Genesis 1:24: And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Contradiction with Job 39:9-10
These verses describe the wild nature of oxen as being unfit for work, contrasting with the use of kine to pull a cart in obedience to a divine sign.
Job 39:9-10: Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
Contradiction with Isaiah 30:24
This verse describes oxen and young asses as eating clean provender, while 1 Samuel 6:7 portrays kine being separated from their young to perform a task.
Isaiah 30:24: The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan. [clean: or, savoury: Heb. leavened]
Paradox #1
The contradiction or inconsistency in this verse is the idea of constructing a new cart and having cows that recently gave birth pull it without their calves. Normally, cows that have just given birth would not leave their young and would naturally be inclined to stay close to them. It goes against their natural behavior to leave their calves and pull a cart over a distance, which might be seen as inconsistent with animal behavior studies.
