Contradiction with 1 Kings 7:36
The verse describes the decorations on the carts as being engraved on panels, whereas 2 Chronicles 4:8 makes no mention of such engravings or panel decorations.
1 Kings 7:36: For on the plates of the ledges thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions round about. [proportion: Heb. nakedness]
Paradox #1
There is a numerical inconsistency between 2 Chronicles 4:8 and 1 Kings 7:36. In 2 Chronicles, it mentions "ten tables" and "a hundred basins," while in 1 Kings, it refers to "ten stands" and "forty basins." The difference in the number of basins is the inconsistency.
