According to Luke, the author of the book, as Jesus was going up to the sky, his friends were watching. Suddenly, two angels in white clothes stood next to them.

Acts 1:10: And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

Contradiction with Genesis 32:30

Jacob sees God face to face and lives, whereas Acts 1:10 suggests the disciples see Jesus (God) ascend without harm.
