Contradictions and Paradoxes in Acts 5:1

"Thou shalt not steal" contradicts the deceit of Ananias in Acts 5:1, as his action of withholding proceeds is a form of stealing from God.

"A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight" contradicts Acts 5:1 by pointing out the dishonesty of Ananias, who attempted to deceive the apostles with dishonesty in financial dealings.

"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much" contradicts Ananias's action of being unjust with money handling in Acts 5:1.

"Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another" contradicts Acts 5:1 because Ananias lied, as opposed to speaking truth with his community.
