Contradiction with Deuteronomy 28:63
While Amos 9:14 speaks of restoring the people to their land, this verse mentions God delighting in destroying and bringing them to nothing.

Contrasts with the promised prosperity in Amos 9:14 by describing the people as captives because of their transgressions.

Ezekiel 5:11: Wherefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish [thee]; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
