Contradiction with Exodus 20:24
Deuteronomy 16:5 says not to sacrifice the Passover within any of your towns, while Exodus 20:24 talks about building altars and sacrificing in any place where God's name is recorded.
Exodus 20:24: An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.
Contradiction with 1 Kings 3:2
Deuteronomy 16:5 restricts sacrificing the Passover to a specific location, whereas 1 Kings 3:2 acknowledges that people sacrificed in high places because there was no house built for the name of the LORD.
1 Kings 3:2: Only the people sacrificed in high places, because there was no house built unto the name of the LORD, until those days.
