Contradiction with Exodus 10:28
In Exodus 10:28, Pharaoh tells Moses to leave and never return, contradicting Exodus 11:8 where Pharaoh's servants will bow to Moses.
Exodus 10:28: And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in [that] day thou seest my face thou shalt die.
Contradiction with Exodus 12:31-33
These verses indicate Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron at night after the plague, whereas Exodus 11:8 suggests a more formal sending off.
Exodus 12:31-33: And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, [and] get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.
Contradiction with Exodus 4:21
Here, God tells Moses He will harden Pharaoh's heart so he will not let the people go, conflicting with Exodus 11:8, which implies Pharaoh's people will urge Moses to leave.
Exodus 4:21: And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.
Paradox #1
The potential contradiction in Exodus 11:8 could relate to the description of actions or behaviors of individuals, like who did what or how people reacted, that might differ from other accounts in the same or nearby chapters. If there are inconsistencies in how events are described or who is involved, those could be points of confusion or debate among scholars. "Exodus 12" provides context that may seem to differ slightly in terms of sequence or involvement of people.
