Contradiction with Isaiah 19:18
While Ezekiel 30:14 predicts desolation for Pathros, Isaiah 19:18 speaks of cities in Egypt swearing allegiance to the Lord in a positive sense.
Isaiah 19:18: In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction. [the language: Heb. the lip] [of destruction: or, of Heres, or, of the sun]
Contradiction with Jeremiah 46:26
Ezekiel 30:14 suggests destruction for Pathros, whereas Jeremiah 46:26 indicates eventual restoration of Egypt after conquest.
Jeremiah 46:26: And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the LORD.
Contradiction with Isaiah 19:22
Ezekiel 30:14 pronounces doom, but Isaiah 19:22 talks about Egypt being healed and turning to the Lord after punishment.
Isaiah 19:22: And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal [it]: and they shall return [even] to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
Contradiction with Hosea 11:1
Ezekiel 30:14 targets Egypt for desolation, yet Hosea 11:1 refers to God's past affection for Egypt, as he called Israel out of it.
Hosea 11:1: When Israel [was] a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
Contradiction with Zechariah 10:11
Ezekiel 30:14 focuses on punishment, while Zechariah 10:11 indicates triumph over the sea of Egypt and deliverance.
Zechariah 10:11: And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
