Contradiction with Judges 2:1
This verse indicates that God had already fulfilled his promise to bring the Israelites out of Egypt and into the land, which can be seen as contradicting the need for further covenant promises like in Genesis 17:2.
Judges 2:1: And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you. [angel: or, messenger]
Contradiction with Galatians 3:17
It suggests that the law, coming 430 years later, does not annul the covenant previously ratified by God, which contradicts the notion of God needing to establish another covenant in Genesis 17:2.
Galatians 3:17: And this I say, [that] the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
Contradiction with Hebrews 8:13
This verse claims that by calling a covenant "new," God has made the first one obsolete, which contradicts the idea of establishing an everlasting covenant as stated in Genesis 17:2.
Hebrews 8:13: In that he saith, A new [covenant], he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old [is] ready to vanish away.
