Sarai's use of a surrogate when faced with barrenness contrasts with Leah's direct divine intervention in Genesis 30:17.

Contradiction with 1 Samuel 1:5
Hannah's struggle with barrenness and eventual conception after much prayer contrasts with Leah's immediate conception in Genesis 30:17.

Contradiction with Psalm 113:9
The promise to set the barren woman in a home with children contrasts with the time it took for this to be realized for Rachel after Leah in Genesis 30:17.
