Contradiction with Genesis 42:21
This contradicts Genesis 40:15 as it suggests Joseph's brothers acknowledge their wrongdoing, whereas in Genesis 40:15 Joseph claims he was stolen without acknowledgment of the brothers’ intent.
Genesis 42:21: And they said one to another, We [are] verily guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he besought us, and we would not hear; therefore is this distress come upon us.
Contradiction with Acts 7:9
This verse states that the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt, contradicting Joseph's claim in Genesis 40:15 that he had done nothing deserving of being put into the dungeon.
