Contradiction with Jeremiah 21:4
While Isaiah 37:33 states that the king of Assyria will not shoot an arrow in Jerusalem, Jeremiah 21:4 suggests warfare against Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 21:4: Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that [are] in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and [against] the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.
Contradiction with Lamentations 2:4
Isaiah 37:33 assures no attack will occur, whereas Lamentations 2:4 describes the city being targeted and defeated.
Lamentations 2:4: He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all [that were] pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire. [all...: Heb. all the desirable of the eye]
Contradiction with Ezekiel 21:22
Contradicts Isaiah 37:33 by depicting a prophecy of destruction and siege plans against Jerusalem.
Ezekiel 21:22: At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint [battering] rams against the gates, to cast a mount, [and] to build a fort. [captains: or, battering rams: Heb. rams]
Contradiction with 2 Kings 25:1
This verse describes a siege against Jerusalem, contradicting the promise in Isaiah 37:33 of no siege.
2 Kings 25:1: And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, [that] Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built forts against it round about.
