According to Jeremiah, God is upset because the people have forgotten Him and are praying to other gods in a place that should be special for Him. They have also done very bad things there, like hurting innocent people, which makes God very sad.
Jeremiah 19:4: Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;
Jeremiah 19:4 addresses the Israelites worshiping other gods and sacrificing innocent people. The moral conflict could arise from the tension between God's commands and human actions that contradict those commands, specifically when people choose to engage in practices that harm others, despite knowing such actions are wrong according to divine law.
