Contradiction with Exodus 4:10
Moses expresses feeling inadequate due to being "slow of speech and of a slow tongue," but God does not deny his feelings of inadequacy.
Exodus 4:10: And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I [am] not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I [am] slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. [eloquent: Heb. a man of words] [heretofore: Heb. since yesterday, nor since the third day]
Contradiction with 1 Timothy 4:12
Paul advises Timothy not to let anyone despise his youth, implying that youth can indeed be seen as a weakness, contradicting the dismissal of youth as a concern in Jeremiah 1:7.
1 Timothy 4:12: Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Contradiction with 1 Samuel 17:33
Saul tells David he is not able to fight Goliath because he is only a youth, contradicting the notion in Jeremiah 1:7 that age should not be an obstacle.
1 Samuel 17:33: And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou [art but] a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
Paradox #1
Jeremiah 1:7 speaks about God empowering someone to speak regardless of their youth or inexperience. A possible contradiction could arise if this message is interpreted to mean that age or experience never matter, which might conflict with other teachings that emphasize the value of wisdom and learning from elders. This could lead to confusion about the importance of experience versus divine calling.
