According to Jeremiah, God says that Shallum, the son of King Josiah, who took over as king, will not come back to his home again. This means that Shallum will have to stay where he went and won't return to his old life as king.
Jeremiah 22:11: For thus saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more:
Jeremiah 22:11 specifies to "weep not for the dead," whereas Jeremiah 22:10 exhorts to "weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him," but weep for the one who goes away.
Jeremiah 22:10: Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: [but] weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.
