Contradiction with Hebrews 11:38
This verse praises those who wandered in deserts and caves, yet Jeremiah, a faithful prophet, is imprisoned within a dungeon.

Contradiction with Jeremiah 1:19
God promises Jeremiah that he will be delivered from his enemies, yet in Jeremiah 37:16, he is not delivered from imprisonment.

Contradiction with Proverbs 12:21
Proverbs claims no harm befalls the righteous, whereas Jeremiah, a righteous prophet, faces imprisonment.
