Contradiction with Leviticus 19:28
Prohibits cutting oneself and making marks upon the body, which could contradict actions described as people coming with "their beards shaven, and their clothes rent, and having cut themselves" in Jeremiah 41:5.

Contradiction with Deuteronomy 14:1
States "ye shall not cut yourselves," which contradicts the actions of the men cutting themselves as mentioned in Jeremiah 41:5.
