Contradiction with Exodus 12:12
This verse describes God striking down the firstborn in Egypt, showing His power over Egypt as opposed to preserving its gods.
Exodus 12:12: For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I [am] the LORD. [gods: or, princes]
Contradiction with Isaiah 19:1
Here, the Lord is depicted as riding on a swift cloud to come to Egypt, and the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence, contradicting Jeremiah 46:25 which suggests a different divine approach.
Isaiah 19:1: The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
