Contradiction with Psalm 30:5
While Job 30:17 talks about unending pain at night, this verse speaks of joy coming in the morning.
Psalm 30:5: For his anger [endureth but] a moment; in his favour [is] life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning. [his anger...: Heb. there is but a moment in his anger] [for a night: Heb. in the evening] [joy: Heb. singing]
Contradiction with Isaiah 40:31
This verse talks about renewal of strength, contrary to the unending pain and weakness described in Job 30:17.
Isaiah 40:31: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. [renew: Heb. change]
Contradiction with 2 Corinthians 4:17
This verse refers to afflictions as momentary, in contrast to the prolonged suffering implied in Job 30:17.
2 Corinthians 4:17: For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory;
Contradiction with Revelation 21:4
This verse speaks of a future with no pain, contradictory to the night-long pain in Job 30:17.
Revelation 21:4: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Contradiction with Psalm 34:19
Here, it is stated that the righteous are delivered from troubles, unlike in Job 30:17 where pain persists.
Psalm 34:19: Many [are] the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
