Contradiction with Job 1:1
This verse describes Job as perfect and upright, contradicting the implication in Job 34:7 that he is a scoffer.
Job 1:1: There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name [was] Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Contradiction with Job 42:7
God rebukes Job's friends for not speaking rightly about him, contradicting Elihu's claim in Job 34:7.
Job 42:7: And it was [so], that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me [the thing that is] right, as my servant Job [hath].
Contradiction with James 5:11
This verse praises Job's patience, contradicting any suggestion in Job 34:7 of Job being blameworthy or disrespectful.
James 5:11: Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
Contradiction with Ezekiel 14:14
This verse includes Job as a righteous person, contrary to the implication of disdain in Job 34:7.
Ezekiel 14:14: Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver [but] their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.
Contradiction with Job 2:3
God Himself declares Job's integrity, contradicting Elihu's assertion in Job 34:7 that Job is mocking.
Job 2:3: And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that [there is] none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
