Contradiction with Matthew 11:28
Job 6:16 describes the distress of unreliable comforts, but Matthew 11:28 promises rest and relief in Jesus.

Contradiction with John 4:14
Where Job 6:16 shows temporary waters that fail, John 4:14 speaks of eternal water springing up to eternal life.
John 4:14: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Contradiction with Jeremiah 17:8
Unlike the disappointing torrents in Job 6:16, Jeremiah 17:8 describes a tree with access to constant, reliable water.
