Contradiction with Matthew 27:57-60
These verses describe Joseph of Arimathea taking Jesus' body for burial, without mention of Nicodemus or the myrrh and aloes described in John 19:39.

Contradiction with Mark 15:43-46
Similar to Matthew, these verses focus on Joseph of Arimathea's role in Jesus' burial, again omitting details about Nicodemus or spices.
Mark 15:43-46: Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.
Contradiction with Luke 23:50-53
Luke also highlights Joseph of Arimathea as the one who handled Jesus' burial, without reference to Nicodemus or the mixture of myrrh and aloes.

One possible contradiction with John 19:39 is the involvement of Nicodemus in Jesus' burial. The Gospel of John mentions Nicodemus bringing spices for the burial, but the other Gospels do not mention his involvement. This difference raises questions about the consistency of the accounts.
