Paradox #1
Leviticus 11:11 deals with dietary laws about eating certain animals from the sea. One potential doctrinal conflict is with the New Testament, where in Acts 10:15, Peter is told in a vision that he should not call any food impure or unclean. This could be seen as a shift from Old Testament dietary restrictions to a new understanding in the New Testament, possibly causing confusion or inconsistency between the two sections of the Bible.
Paradox #2
Some people might see a conflict between the dietary rules in Leviticus 11:11, which labels certain sea creatures as unclean, and modern nutrition science. Many sea creatures that are labeled unclean are considered nutritious and healthy today. This difference may seem like a contradiction between the ancient dietary laws and current scientific understanding of what is considered healthy food.
Paradox #3
The contradiction in this verse could arise if someone believes that all forms of life should be respected and not considered detestable. Some people might see a conflict between this view and the idea of labeling certain animals as abominable, as it could promote a bias or contempt towards specific creatures. This could seem inconsistent with a broader message of compassion and respect for all living beings.
