Contradiction with 1 Thessalonians 5:3
Contrary to the fear and foreboding of Luke 21:26, this verse speaks of sudden destruction coming unexpectedly when people are saying "Peace and safety."
1 Thessalonians 5:3: For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Contradiction with Matthew 6:34
While Luke 21:26 discusses fear of future events, this verse advises not to worry about tomorrow as each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34: Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.
Contradiction with Philippians 4:6-7
This verse contradicts the fear of Luke 21:26 by urging believers to be anxious for nothing and to experience the peace of God.

Contradiction with 2 Timothy 1:7
This verse states God hasn't given a spirit of fear, in contrast to the fear and expectation of things coming mentioned in Luke 21:26.

Contradiction with Isaiah 41:10
Encouraging fearlessness and assurance with God's presence, this contradicts the distress and fear depicted in Luke 21:26.
Isaiah 41:10: Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
