Contradiction with Mark 6:11
Luke 9:52 describes sending messengers to prepare the way, while Mark 6:11 instructs to shake off the dust for those who do not receive or hear you.
Mark 6:11: And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. [and: Gr. or]
Contradiction with Matthew 10:14
Unlike Luke 9:52, this verse advises leaving a house or city if not accepted, not sending messengers ahead.
Matthew 10:14: And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Contradiction with John 4:9
In contrast to Luke 9:52 which involves sending messengers to a Samaritan village, this verse highlights the lack of dealings between Jews and Samaritans.
John 4:9: Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
