According to Mark, Jesus went into the big city of Jerusalem and visited the temple. He looked around at everything there, and then, because it was getting late, he left with his twelve friends to a place called Bethany.
Mark 11:11: And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
Mark 11:11 mentions Jesus entering the temple and looking around, but not taking any action. In contrast, Luke 19:45 describes Jesus driving out those buying and selling in the temple immediately upon entering.
Luke 19:45: And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
