Contradiction with John 7:4
This verse states that one should not seek to be known openly if they do things for the world to see. Mark 1:36 implies gathering for public acknowledgment by seeking Jesus.
John 7:4: For [there is] no man [that] doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.
