Contradiction with Acts 1:18
This verse describes Judas's death differently, indicating he bought a field and died by falling headlong, instead of indicating remorse and returning the money.
Acts 1:18: Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
Paradox #1
Some people see a contradiction in the different accounts of Judas's actions and his fate across the Gospels. In Matthew, Judas feels remorse and returns the silver before his death, while Acts describes his death differently. This creates inconsistency in how his final actions and demise are portrayed.
