According to Matthew, Jesus' friends were told by an angel to go and quickly tell the others that Jesus came back to life. The angel also said that they would see Jesus again in a place called Galilee.
Matthew 28:7: And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
The women fled and told no one because they were afraid, contradicting Matthew 28:7 where they are instructed to go and tell the disciples.
Mark 16:8: And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any [man]; for they were afraid.
