Contradiction with Numbers 22:12
God initially tells Balaam not to go with the men, which contradicts the later instruction in Numbers 22:35.
Numbers 22:12: And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they [are] blessed.
Contradiction with Exodus 20:16
God commands not to bear false witness, while the angel allows Balaam to go, seemingly contradicting God's earlier command to not go.

Contradiction with James 1:13
States that God does not tempt with evil, while the angel permitting Balaam to go can be seen as leading him into temptation.

Contradiction with 1 Corinthians 14:33
Says God is not the author of confusion, yet the differing instructions Balaam receives can seem confusing.
