Contradiction with Numbers 26:51
This verse contradicts Numbers 2:16 by providing a different total number of Israelite men than the one given in Numbers 2:16.
Numbers 26:51: These [were] the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.
Contradiction with Judges 20:2
This verse provides a different count for the congregation, conflicting with the figures in Numbers 2:16.
Judges 20:2: And the chief of all the people, [even] of all the tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God, four hundred thousand footmen that drew sword.
Contradiction with 1 Samuel 11:8
This verse contradicts the total in Numbers 2:16 by counting Israel's men differently during Saul's gathering.
1 Samuel 11:8: And when he numbered them in Bezek, the children of Israel were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand.
Contradiction with 2 Samuel 24:9
The count of fighting men in Israel is different in this verse compared to Numbers 2:16.

Contradiction with 2 Chronicles 17:14
This verse lists different numbers for the army of Judah, conflicting with tribal counts in Numbers 2:16.
2 Chronicles 17:14: And these [are] the numbers of them according to the house of their fathers: Of Judah, the captains of thousands; Adnah the chief, and with him mighty men of valour three hundred thousand.
