Check out Contradictions Catalog of Numbers 33:38 for the comprehensive list of verses that contradicts Numbers 33:38. Some key contradictions and paradoxes are described below.

According to Moses, Aaron, the special helper of God, went up a mountain because God told him to, and that's where he died. This happened a long time after the Israelites left Egypt.

Numbers 33:38: And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first [day] of the fifth month.

Contradiction with Numbers 14:30

This verse mentions that Caleb and Joshua were the only ones to enter the Promised Land from those who left Egypt, but it doesn't discuss Aaron's death.

Numbers 14:30: Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, [concerning] which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. [sware: Heb. lifted up my hand]

Paradox #1

The potential contradiction is that the age of Aaron at his death as described in religious texts may conflict with historical or archaeological evidence regarding the longevity of people in that historical period. It is scientifically understood that lifespans during ancient times were typically much shorter due to lack of modern medicine and living conditions.
