Contradiction with Acts 1:5
While Titus 3:6 speaks of the Holy Ghost being shed abundantly through Jesus, Acts 1:5 refers to the Holy Ghost as a future baptism coming after John’s.
Acts 1:5: For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
Contradiction with John 7:39
Titus 3:6 mentions the Holy Ghost being poured out through Jesus, yet John 7:39 indicates that the Spirit was not yet given because Jesus was not yet glorified.
John 7:39: (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet [given]; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
Contradiction with John 14:17
Titus 3:6 describes the abundant pouring out of the Holy Ghost, whereas John 14:17 notes that the world cannot receive Him and He only dwells with and is in the believers.
John 14:17: [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Contradiction with Acts 19:2
Titus 3:6 describes the Holy Ghost being poured out through Jesus, but in Acts 19:2, a group of disciples had not even heard that there was a Holy Ghost.
Acts 19:2: He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
