According to the prophet Zechariah, God will help His people by making big problems go away, like stopping powerful waves and drying up rivers, so that bad and proud leaders will lose their power. This shows that God is stronger than anyone and can protect and rescue His people.
Zechariah 10:11: And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
Zechariah 10:11 describes a path through the sea for God's people, while Isaiah 11:15 speaks of the Lord utterly destroying the tongue of the Egyptian sea and dry up the river.
Isaiah 11:15: And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make [men] go over dryshod. [dryshod: Heb. in shoes]
